190602 Elmwood 98

This is from the Elmwood Cemetery trip with Raaj a couple of weeks ago. I don't even remember taking the photo, but I was struck by the composition and didn't want to let it go.  It isn't even in focus.  So, what do you do with a strong composition that isn't in focus?  You become an artist.  You can judge if I succeeded.

You might ask why the moon poking through the trees isn't casting any shadows, or why the side of the trees away from the moon aren't in shadow.  Or, was that the moon?

I like this image @lbloom.   It has a quality that evokes peacefulness and solitude.

There are many fine art photographers whose style includes that out of focus look.

Lloyd, I think the focus is fine.  Might benefit from work on the tonal distribution.
