Some of the members of this group had the privilege of meeting Raaj in Hokkaido on a photo expedition. The tour operator arranged for a video of the tour to be made for promotional purposes and released the video today. Here is the link

Wow! You're all movie stars, now!
Thanks for sharing, Ulana. Aside from all the wonderful images in the video, it was great to see what you all look like. Now, I'll have to see if I can find a way to get to Hokkaido. In the meantime, after seeing the video, I have to believe that you all have many more wonderful images to share. Remember, you don't have to put them all up for critique, just post them on the sharing forum.
Cheers,
lloyd
Today I posted some of my Hokkaido images on 500px. https://500px.com/ulanaswitucha/galleries
There will be a few more next week as 500px has a weekly limit to uploads.
I would appreciate your feedback.

Hi Ulana,
This is the first chance we have had to see a whole series of photos from the Hokkaido trip. You've chosen your images well- each is a strong image by itself and works well with the others. The order of presentation works mostly well - but, did you intentionally put images 3 and 4 out of sequence with their like images?
After our discussion of B&W vs. color, your choice for each of the images works well.
Cheers,
lloyd
Thank Lloyd. I am using 500px as a platform to share the images until I get a website up and running. The images that were uploaded were not meant to be a series and the order of upload reflects more my discovery of how the 500px application work and navigating through the steps. There is a 20 image per week limit. So next week there will be a few more uploaded.
Thanks for sharing on 500px! I'm following you now and look forward to the next bunch. As Lloyd pointed out, many images are strong and astutely edited.
I also appreciate the video! Hokkaido is on my bucket list and, coincidentally, I watched a Michael Kenna (I'm in love with his photos) video in Hokkaido. Your experience must have been so amazing.

Thank you Pat and welcome to the group. Michael Kenna is one of my favourite photographers and I had the privilege of meeting him about 18 months ago when he was a speaker at a local event. I have a number of his books but don't know that video. Our conditions were not dissimilar. I do hope that you can check Hokkaido off the bucket list soon. It is an amazing place.
